Yvette Mangual Yvette hails from the South Bronx and studied Fine Arts at the University of Puerto Rico. She joined Rudy in his travels while raising two children and painting and showing in group and one-woman installations in New York, North Dakota, Madrid and Los Angeles. She has worked in the publishing field for 17 years and also designs CD covers for several music labels. Her Latin Beat covers have been exhibited at the Smithsonian, at a VH-1 magazine gallery exhibit, and at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. Yvette and Rudy worked with a fledgling music publication 11 years ago and when it folded, they created Latin Beat Magazine to fill a void they felt existed in the Latin music industry. She loves the magazine as she loves the music, with passion and commitment.
